ARtifact_2 is a mobile Augmented Reality application that allows users to explore hidden layers of historical artworks through IR, UV, and thermal imagery. It is developed by the Cultural Heritage Engineering Initiative (CHEI) at UC San Diego.

Known Issues

• AR tracking may degrade in low-light environments.
• Some devices may experience longer initial load times for high-resolution overlays.
